Braco Dimitrijević

Braco Dimitrijević was born in Sarajevo in 1948. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and St Martin’s School of Art in London. His conceptual practice questions the authority of history and how individuals gain public recognition. He is known for his “Casual Passers-by” series and has participated in documenta and the Venice Biennale.
