Fra Petar Perica Vidić was born in Sarajevo in 1938. He is a Franciscan friar and painter who completed studies in philosophy and theology, worked in the studios of Gabrijel Jurkić and Stane Kregar, and studied printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. His painting combines spirituality with expressive colour. He became a full member of ANUBiH in 2005 and received Sarajevo’s Sixth of April Award in 2006. Works were presented at Sarajevo Art Salons III, IV, VI.
