The Hanikah is part of Gazi Husrev-beg’s endowment in Baščaršija, built by the end of 1531 on the north side of the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque. Today it is used by the Gazi Husrev-beg Madrasa, among other things for book launches and exhibitions. The complex was declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2006.
