Elma Šobot Alić

Elma Alić-Šobot was born in Sarajevo in 1975. She graduated and completed a master’s degree in the Department of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Sarajevo. She has been a member of ULUBiH since 2002.

She teaches sculpture in the Metalwork Department of the Secondary School of Applied Arts in Sarajevo and has also served as the school’s headteacher. She has exhibited actively in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad since 1998. Her works are included in the permanent displays of the Gallery of Small Sculpture in Murska Sobota and the Art Gallery of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo.
