Emir Durmišević

Emir Durmišević was born in Sarajevo on 2 April 1985. He completed the Secondary School of Applied Arts, specialising in book design and illustration, and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo. During postgraduate studies in graphic design, he researched illustration as a means of presenting cultural and historical heritage.

He works professionally in illustration, concept art, character design and animation. He has exhibited in the USA, the UAE, Italy, Sweden, France, Greece, Turkey, Austria, Cyprus, Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He received the international Golden Pen award for illustration. His projects include “Druga strana medalje”, “Najljepše bosanske bajke”, “Kamena priča”, “Bosansko kraljevstvo” and “Stećkopedija”.
