Maja Matašin

Maja Matašin was born in Sarajevo in 1984. She enrolled at the Secondary School of Applied Arts in 1999 and in the Department of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2003. While still at secondary school, she represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at United Buddy Bears in Berlin in 2002. Her work was installed at Pionirska dolina in 2004.

From 2005 to 2011 she collaborated with Enes Sivac’s art foundry, producing her own works in ceramics, steel, aluminium, copper, bronze and silver. She has been a member of ULUBiH since 2011. Her work entered the permanent display of the History Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2015.
