Miomir Mišo Vemić

Miomir Mišo Vemić was born in Donja Bukovica, Montenegro, in 1954. He graduated from the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić. He has held 19 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions and art colonies in Montenegro and abroad.

He founded and has organised the International Biennial of Miniature Art in Nikšić since 2005. He received the Zoran Matić Award at the Prilipac International Art Colony (2005) and a painting award at the International Biennial of the Nude at the Marko K. Gregović Gallery in Petrovac (2006). He participated in the Bridges of the Balkans colony in Kragujevac in 2006.
