Narcis Kantardžić

Narcis Kantardžić was born in Derventa on 7 April 1958. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 1982. He is a co-founder of the art group Zvono. He has been a member of ULUBiH since 1984 and of the Maribor Association of Fine Artists since 2007. He lives and works in Celje.

His awards include the Sarajevo Youth Salon award for the video “Maske” (1987), the Collegium Artisticum painting award (1988), the Sarajevo Youth Salon innovation award (1989), Third Prize at Ex-tempore Velenje (1997 and 2005), a sponsor’s award at International Ex-tempore Piran (2005) and the main award of the European Capital of Culture Maribor (2012).
