Taida Jašarević was born in Sarajevo in 1979. She graduated in printmaking from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 2002 and earned a doctorate in fine arts at Joshibi University of Art and Design in Japan in 2010. Her practice explores contemporary printmaking and its possibilities as a medium. She has exhibited internationally and taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Trebinje.
