Avdo Žiga

Avdo Žiga was born in Sarajevo in 1953. He graduated from the Department of Printmaking at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 1978 and completed postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
He has participated in exhibitions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the USA, Poland, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, France, Bulgaria, Norway, Austria, Germany, Turkey, Egypt, Belgium and Macedonia. He undertook specialist training in printmaking at Atelier 17 in Paris in 1985–1986. He has received several national and international awards. He lives and works in Sarajevo.
